A few of the kids and I were hanging out in the playroom. Jules was practicing an Irish jig, Bella was sketching Japanese anime and Mia was singing the same song from Spanish class over and over again.
Me: “Well aren’t we international? You guys are engaging in activities from three different country’s cultures right now.”
Leo: “And I just farted and American fart- we’re a cool family.”
While it’s sometimes a challenge, we try to not be too hoity-toity up in here. We want you to find us relatable and accessible so we’ll talk about peeing in water bottles and American farts after we’ve wrapped up our virtual tour of The Lourve and mastered Mozart’s Requiem Mass in D minor. We’re cool and cultured and knuckle-dragging like that.
